They go 4 and 5 wide and spread it around to a lot of WRs. 94 receptions is impressive no matter how you slice it. I'd imagine he wasn't projected as a 1st round pick. What does that matter?
It doesn't matter WHY Sims would want to transfer. It doesn't make any sense to me either. The bottom line is that he was very frustrated last year. Ridiculous, I agree. But he was apparently thinking about it nonetheless. Hopefully somebody talked some sense into him, or he came to realize it on his own.
I don't get it. Why wouldn't Dieter play? He's apparently an even better WR than Mullaney, and Mullaney played even when Foster was healthy.

If anyone questions how good Dieter is, they need to talk to Tennessee fans. They don't want Dieter anywhere near Bama.

Bama lacked experienced receivers last year, that combined with injuries to Sims, Black and Falkins and Bama was in serious need of a experienced receiver. Bama has experienced receivers this year, just need more depth. A spot for Dieter likely opened when Chris Black transferred.
