You can use your anomaly example all you want, but in this day and age, a 5* player is going to have an option to be the only QB recruited in a class by a number of schools. it may have worked for y'all post-Tannehill and Manziel because TAMU looked like a QBs heaven. But right now y'all aren't looking so hot in the QB department.

All of the sudden Lobotomy loves our staff and is defending their recruiting strategy while throwing illogical shade on the QB recruiting process as a whole. He's a tough one to figure out

Trevor Knight is a 4* who beat Bama and would start at LSU and Middle Tennessee this year.
You literally have an entire thread on the LSU recruiting board full of people upset because Scott only has 3* and Martell has 5
