May we all sign great players that fit our systems, grow as human beings and excel as student athletes ... injury free.

And may we accept the fact that many of them will fail to live up to expectations and be processed, while others will exceed expectations and become legends - immortal even.

Today is Christmas all over again for college football fans ... especially in the SEC.

Enjoy it - it only comes once a year.

I'll be popping my first frostie at 0900 hrs and sipping on Blanton's by noon ... a La Gloria Cubana will be lit once the final LOI is received.

mUSChamp brought us from #79, when he tookover, to within range of hitting the Top 25 today .... that took some doing.

Congrats, in advance, to all those who finish with Top 10 classes.

My condolences to the Mizzou fans. Looks like you'll sign the first SEC class in history to finish below Vandy's.

By "history" you mean since Franklin left for Penn State?

But seriously, hope the Cocks have a big NSD.

Which class did Franklin sign that was better than last?

I can't find it ... I was using the 247 composite.

2012 they finished ahead of Kentucky and in 2013 they finished above UK and Mizzou.

Damn ... so Mizzou is about to win the "irrelevant class" award for the second time in three years?

Ouch.

Double condolences to the Mizzou fans.
