You have zero clue if that's hearsay, anymore than I do since we weren't IN the room. But It's what I was told when Gus left and Phillip Marshall (who may be an old fart but he still knows people) has confirmed as much several times, as recent as this week. Our OL play was really good last season. You're on crack. The playcalling was bonafide crap last year, specifically once SW got hurt and JJ got thrust back into action. The offensive rhythm was fukt.

Lastly Trotter was a decent QB to begin the season. But The Matador AJ Greene was so bad at LT that Trotter developed David Carr syndrome by the time the South Carolina was over. I'm afraid this will happen again with Leff on the OL.

AJ Greene was the worst OT I've ever seen at Auburn. Leff is a much MUCH more technically sound OL. Greene couldn't run or pass block. Leff did fine when he played last yr vs the pass and was exceptional vs the run.
