Talk about "damned if you do and damned if you don't."

The OP asks "how in the hell is Ole Miss recruiting at an elite status?", and whether you blockheads are too dumb to understand this or not, beating Alabama the last two years is a huge part of what has helped us reach that elite status in recruiting. But when you ask that question and we give that as one of the reasons everyone acts like they are offended that it is even mentioned (of course, every sane Bama fan in the world would have to admit that those two victories absolutely help Ole Miss when sitting down with recruits trying to sell them on coming here).

Of course, finishing as the second highest ranked team in the SEC and playing in the Sugar Bowl and then destroying Okie State in to win the Sugar Bowl also play a huge part in helping us recruit at an elite status.

Placing 3 players in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft answers whether great players can come to Ole Miss and move into the NFL. So that has helped us with our elite recruiting.

In the end, we have all those things, as well as a great Coach (who all recruits seem to love), a beautiful campus and great college town known for its parties and beautiful women, an exciting offense and a nationally known defense (with a national brand nickname used by all of the announcers).

In the end, a better question would be "why the hell wouldn't Ole Miss now be recruiting at a national elite level?"

Immediate playing time is a huge factor for Ole Miss. And it was a major key in the big 2013 class.
