I remember sitting in class watching it. Had one of those roll around tv carts with a 19" tv on it. Everyone just sat kinda stunned when it happened.

Yeah I was making breakfast and had the TV on in a pos trailer house I shared with 2 other guys getting ready for an animal husbandry class when poof, was a sad day for sure
