Texas reportedly makes near $15 million a year from ESPN, and it seems unlikely it would be interested in taking a major paycut for the good of the conference
I know the SEC is a better brand than the Big XII, but I would think if they rebranded LHN to B12N and set it up like the SECN is set up, UTx would still make good money - maybe make $12MM as opposed to $15MM - and get a more stable conference because of it.
