He can throw tantrums all he wants, but he has no options even if he wants to leave. OU will go to the Pac-12 when Texas decides that it's ready to give up the LHN, and take OU and a couple of other Big XII schools with them. So, OU's only pathway out of the BDF is totally contingent on what the folks in Austin (and Bristol) decide to do regarding the LHN.

Four Big XII teams going to the Pac-12 would be a non-event for the SEC. If anything, it would strangle TCU and Baylor, and make Texas recruiting even more wide open for plundering.

The only SEC expansion that is even remotely likely would be an expansion into Virginia and North Carolina, but that's only likely to happen if the ACC disintegrates, something the Big Ten is actively working on, but which is probably out of their grasp (can't see UNC or UVA ever leaving the ACC, and as long as they stay, the ACC will soldier on).
