People are gonna give Cam credit for the NFL which is irrelevant in terms of how they do in college.

Watson is unquestionably a more accurate passer and much more of a threat to run. Again in college.

Cam Newton is one of the GOAT college quarterbacks.. Watson is great(best in the game right now) but Cam is on another level!! The fricker single-handedly won Auburn the title that year...

Cam left a path of destruction through SEC defenses that year... Anyone think Clemson and Watson would have done the same thing are seriously delusional..

. Are you just making stuff up?

Some stats to help you out.

Newton:
182 QBR. 66.1% completion. 10.2 Yards/Attempt. 30/7 TD to Int
264 rushes. 5.6 y/carry. 20 TD

Watson:
156 QBR. 67.8 % completion. 8.4 Yards/Attempt. 35/13 TD to Int
207 rushes. 5.3 Y/carry. 12 TD

Can you show me where, in those stats, Watson is "unquestionably" better? And how, in those stats, he is "more of a threat to run"?

Thanks. I won't hang around for a response because it won't be any good.

People keep repeating this.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/cam-newton-1.html

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/deshaun-watson-1.html

Cam's completion % in 2010 was 66.1%.

Watson's completion % in 2015 was 67.8%.

Now 67.8 is "unquestionably" more "accurate" than 66.1 mathematically, that is perfectly true. But its not as if that is a HUGE step up in accuracy.

What is unquestionable is this: Watson's yards per attempt on his passes was 8.4 in 2015. What was Cam's in 2010? 10.2 yards per attempt.
