And there is definitely truth to the idea of the fact no one blamed God when Devon was paralyzed but praise him when he gets feeling in his legs

Most with Faith know we have to go through these trials and tribulations to be broken down, to be built back up by the "sky fairy".
Free will is a blessing that allows us to have faith or none at all. The ability to doubt, ridicule, mock, etc.
I respect every person's opinion. Doesn't matter to me, only my opinion/belief matters to me, but I do find it humorous that since people believe they are "well read" that it makes them feel better to knock someone's religion, ethnicity, or background.....
Kind of like Pro-choice activists, oh how they would march for rights if they themselves were aborted.

God Bless!

How in the ever living shite is this even "kinda" relevant to the subject. I tried to acknowledge him, defend the other side as well, and get the thread back on the rails about the great news about Devon, don't make this political.

I agree with this. I believe that God lets man make his own choices, mistakes, etc... For the most part, he stays hands off and lets bad things happen. I think the argument of "how could God allow this to happen" is just a cheap argument to gain cheap argument points. God shows himself in mysterious ways and in places we don't typically expect most of the time.
