The fact that the SEC network was a few seconds behind made it better. You could watch the play on ESPN then switch over and get their reaction as they watched it. I wish the coaches were like that because what they said was more insightful. Bert was good but i liked having more coaches and less finebaum and callers.

I figure they had to be on a 7-second delay due to having callers call in.

I didn't watch it during the game of course but went back to the Jay Bilas, Tony Atlas thing I had DVR'd.....Wasted 15 minutes of my time. The alt. that had no announcers was pretty cool. More game-like atmosphere.
I just haven't been crazy bout these alternates. I tried watching the Finebaum filmroom last year and between Finebaum trying to be a comedian, Greg wanting to break down a play and the stupid arse calls I couldn't take it. Those "film rooms" don't need but maybe 2 people hosting it so there aren't 5 people talking at once and wanting to take the show in 5 different directions. Gruden would be awesome to host one of those. Maybe put him with Herm Edwards and let those 2 be the only ones.
