Just popping in to represent the fan base that really doesn't know if its a good hire or not. Just not that knowledgeable concerning assistant coaches all over the country.
If they come across as personable in their interviews, that's usually a good sign they can recruit.
Not sure if it's important for a good recruiter to be from a particular area, when you look at Pittman signing guys from Hawaii, Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado, Missouri, etc.
I think it's important to hire someone who wants to be at Arkansas, i.e. Shannon, Ash sucked because it wasn't a good fit for them from the start.
If he's personable, is excited to be in Arkansas with this staff, and is a solid technician, he should do well.
