I really do appreciate the responses and the discussion. I was just genuinely curious after I kept flipping through 247 and noticed it.
I also looked through and it isn't like Chavis didn't land LA recruits, the only one that was a 4 star that was missed out on was Kenny Young in 2014. I guess the issue is he didn't move out of state enough to try and pick them up.

The issue with Kenny young is one of the few that Chavis did recruit was Garret who was the 5* bust that transferred. Go figure, we didn't turn up the head on young until late and it was too late.

Keep in mind Chavis RARELY actually recruited any of the LBs we have. They were recruited by someone else on staff. Chief's big "Recruiting pull" was Clifton Garrett, a complete bust.
