The issues with Sumlin are 100% on Sumlin.
What happened to the last UH coach is that he was signed to a nice contract then immediately given a stupid fat raise after 1 year of success. If he replicates what he did at UH here, then he'll be one of the highest paid coaches in the nation, if he isn't already when he signs on.
He's not even making 3 M a year at UH. Money talks, if he feels like he can succeed & feel comfortable here then why would he turn it down?
