1992 season (actual game was in 1993) Sugar Bowl - Alabama v. Miami for the National Championship.
My junior year in college. I went with my then boyfriend (now husband) and his family. Great time in New Orleans and great game to attend.
We were first row, dead center in the end zone over the Miami tunnel (student tickets). We heckled all the Miami folks every time they came in and out of the tunnel. Dennis Erickson flipped us off.
So did a couple of the alumni players who were on the sidelines for the game.
We had a blast chanting "GINO GINO GINO" every time Torretta derped it up.
