Starting offensive lineman Mason Halter and reserve linebacker Anthony Harrell - both senior transfers - have been ruled academically ineligible for the Gators’ game against the Wolverines.

Jordan Scarlett suspended due to Misdemeanor Marijuana charges. Not a good way to start

Halter has played mediocre and allowed more sacks than anyone on the OL....very slow footwork. Fred Johnson may replace him and although he is huge...he also needs better footwork...but at least he has wingspan to block DEs.

Harrell hasnt played much at all and had mental error that cost us 15 yds on special teams at a bad time...no loss.

Scarlett has talent...but Cronkrite has edge him slightly. Both can take it to the house.

Halter went to school at Fordham, WTF is he doing on academic probation? I guess he is enjoying his time in Gainesville a little too much.

Halter was raped by Bama in SECCG. Just review videos and its plain to see he was outmatched. Also had lunch money taken by Neal in LSU game time after time....we tried at the end to put McGee with him to block Neal...but blocking was not McGees strong suit.

We failed to convert 3rd downs against LSU and/or sacks caused by Neal in a game that Treon was having a rather good game otherwise. Neal should have been double teamed and Nuss is eating a lot of the blame sandwich for that.

BTW Halter was sr transfer because he had graduated....what in the world is he suspended for ? Its a long way from the Bronx to the SEC.
