For a place im so ready to be gone a lot of memories are flooding back to me.
I had my first basketball camps in that building at 10 years old, I learned to spider dribble and reverse layup.
I went hard for a rebound and collided heads with afellow camper. After ten seconds I saw blood dripping on the floor reached up to my temple and felt the sting. Got 5 stitches in the training room the other guy had to get 3 on his eye socket just like me.
I bled on that court.
I won the science fair there when I was 9 or so.
the state championship science fairs were held there.
I also had some 3rd and sixth place finishes in other years.
During rush we would meet outside the tad pad before going to the houses. Blazer khakis and all.
I also remember the elation of Clarence Sanders ( flava flav as we nick named him for his similarity in appearance ) hit the 3 pointer in the corner to beat LSU at home in a game we were supposed to lose by a lot.
Onward and upward, may you live forever in the memory of those you sheltered tad smith coliseum.
Long Live the Pavillion! ( just not the same longevity of the Tad pad )

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) Ole Miss guard Clarence Sanders has made a habit of hitting important shots this season, but none was more important than his final basket Wednesday in a 71-70 win over LSU. "I knew it was good when it left my hand," said Sanders after hitting a game-winning 17-foot jumper with less than a second remaining. "It's a big win for us, but we're still not satisfied." The win pushed Ole Miss (17-8, 6-5) into sole possession of first place in the SEC Western Division and extended a four-game winning streak. The Rebels improved to 13-1 at home and snapped a six-game losing streak to LSU.

It's going to be around for a while longer. Not going to be torn around for 7-8 years.
