My only real issue with the movie is this:
Trooper FN-2187 refused to fire his weapon and kill the villagers at the beginning. He was then asked to have his blaster inspected. It was noted that this was his first instance of non-conformity. I've never been in any military group, but I feel it's a bit strange that immediatley after they are suspicous of him, they have him escort the high profile rebellion prisoner (Poe) all by himself. Fin shouldn't have been on escort duty, and he definitley shouldn't have been on escort duty by himself. When do prisoners of value ever get escorted by one guy? Much less a guy who is suspicous.
The movie had a very different feel to it compared to previous installments. It was much less formal, for lack of a better word. The humor was very cheesy, but not necessarily in a bad way. BB8 is a BB Badass.
Overall 8.5/10

He wasn't on escort duty. He was on "I'm escaping and need a pilot" duty. He went rogue. He was supposed to go in for reconditioning since he failed in the field.
