If you don't support the B-ball team, fine. This topic is not for you. UGA has lost to the only "good" teams the pundits have considered "quality", but in reality, ADGM should be fired again and for more reasons than just football. Scheduling teams like Chatt, fricking Oakland not from CA, and Murray State. Those teams I just described will not HELP but will HURT UGA come March. frick you Greg! You can suck the smegma off an Arabs Isis a-hole you flaming cocksucking thundercount... GT has a REALLY good team... UGA has to win out heading into conference play if they stand any chance of making the NCAAT.
the rest.

A signature start for Fox' teams. Start slow and barely in our out at tourney time. It's how we roll in round ball at UGA.

You forgot exit the tourney in the first round, guaranteed.

I haven't been happy with our start to the season, but with a win over Tech and then Clemson next week we will be in the top 50 of the RPI (currently 51, although it doesn't mean a whole lot this early).
I'd definitely have taken that pre-season. We need these next two games, or at worst a split of the two.

Disagree on the scheduling complaint. Fox played a big role in requesting that schedule and it makes a lot of sense. We have not played any 250+ RPI teams that kill our ratings. Have played a lot of good teams, all upper end of their mid major conferences that will help our SOS and RPI throughout the year while giving us close game experience.
That said I do hate that we aren't in a tourney this year and will play a few less games than other teams. Will make it tough to get around 20 this year. No doubt Saturday is a big one. I'm nervous too, Gregory has our number and this is his best team since he has been there.

I dont' really care that much about this, overall.
It'd be like UK or VU football making the citrus bowl and getting whooped. They realistically know their place, they should be happy as a clam they even made a bowl of that stature.
UGA basketball making the NCAA tourney (legitimately, not due to divine miracles like 08) is cause for celebration, first round exit or not.
IMO.

But even VU or UK will win their bowl game every now and then. I'd like to win a tourney game just once to prove that we can.

yeah, the emerald nuts sun bowl featured by dell sponsored by RC cola. Akin to us winning a few NIT games.

I've seen us do it, we certainly can. But we haven't had harrick-caliber teams in a while. We're like SCarolina football was under holtz. Better than the predecessor no doubt, but not quite legit yet. Can see the hump although not really able to get over it. Now, it's extremely doubtful we get our version of spurrier in here, but my point is that the last few years under fox he's gotten us in position to at least even TALK about making the tourney come January/February, which after following UGa bball since middle school is sure welcomed.

I mean I'm grateful for the progress; lord knows there were plenty of years when this program was just unwatchable. And recruiting seems to be on the upswing as we're starting to consistently pull in 4 star players. I'm just impatient, dammit.

Well yeah, overall I'd like us to make the final 4 every year. That's what any fan should WANT, it's just not realistic. As much as we say "We're GEORGIA! We shouldn't settle!" and on and on, you have to be realistic. This is UGA basketball. We've had like 6 good seasons ever in our entire history. We simply aren't going to compete at a high level consistently, so a tourney is a successful season to me.
With that said, there's no reason we CAN'T take the next step and be an every other year or so tourney team. It's just not going to happen until we get an elite coach in here, and we've only had 2 or 3 of those ever.

if we want to make the tourney, we need both IMO.
losing both eliminates us 100% and splitting pretty much eliminates us as well without an outstanding conference record.
