Romero gets first dual win!
Cox/Wellington match-we lose by default (6 points) for Cox's unnecessary roughness which injures Wellington who can't continue.

125-Barlow actually wrestles with energy and controls the match. Gets a nice 3-1 victory.
133- Synon got taken down twice in the 1st, but dominated from there. Solid victory after a suspect 1st period.
141-Don't let the score fool you. Manley dominated this match. So close to multiple takedowns. But a nice 5 OT victory by amassing more riding time.
149- Mayes is a blast double king.
157- Fortuna really wrestled Chino well. Chino is a multiple NCAA qualifier, and Fortuna loses on a riding time point.
165- Daniel Lewis. Looking undeterred after his loss last night, did really well.
174- Wasn't a fan of this match. Blaise won because of the refs. Very quick stall calls. But any win against a Top 6 opponent is good.
184- Miklus dominates.
197- I didn't like this. J'den really needs to get his head strait against Wellington. Wellington was his first college loss, and it clearly becomes something more when they wrestle. the DQ was probably the right call, but I don't like that. Unnecessary roughness...but it was on a perfectly fine continuation action. J'den could have set him down on the mat, but drove him into the scorers table, and Wellington landed on his head on the hardwood floor.
Its a crappy way to lose a match, but rules are rules. DQ's take seeding preference, so now J'den needs to beat him twice to get a better seed at the NCAA's.
285- romero did really well. Got thrown twice early, the first only resulted in a takedown. But he did get a nice takedown of his own. The second throw he landed on his face, which the refs called unnecessary roughness once again... which IMO is a bad call. A perfectly legal throw, but he just happened to land on his face. So Romero got a point instead of being taken down and maybe pinned. Stopped another throw for a takedown for the final score of 8-4. Besides the bad call, he did really well.
