Sadly, Chaney with the athletes that UGA has and will bring in will probably do really well.

yeah. i'm kind of cringing at everyone on the rant saying he will be a huge failure. he may not be able to work around players that are not his ideal, he may not be able to actually coach up a QB, but if he has the talent in place he will do well. his bad time here i think was a product of BA's bum shoulder. Chaney put up big numbers at Tenn with Bray even as some of the Tenn fans were griping.

The part the really rubs me the wrong way is that Bert gave both these guys a job… if you remember they were both unemployed after Dooley was fired, Bert gave them a shot… Cheney sucked so he hot canned. That's how it goes. It seemed that he was constantly in Pittmans ear all season about going somewhere else. It's Luke the thanking in Cheneys pat ways very immature and was like "Bert fired me so now we can screw him by going to the next big SEC gig that opens up… we'll show him!" The whole situation, from Smart being a first time coach and seeming like a cocky little shite coming after lil Ole Arkansas to the Cheney/Pittman thing seems like a bunch of fricking junior high jealousy and backstabbing… I guess I just summed up big rime coaching then huh? Sucks there are so many liars and non honorable people in this profession (including a couple of our old head coaches). shite I'm just gonna watch Army vs Navy and enjoy pure football with quality people.
