I would take either. Both are great team players with elite strength and speed. Comparing Henry to Fournette is like comparing Jimmy Page to Eric Clapton. At that level, who cares?
I mean. The guy I was responding to claimed that Henry was Bo level. That he's never seen anything like him. And there is a guy playing right now that to me is clearly better. Henry just seems like the type of player that needs two or three uninterrupted steps, and he isn't quick enough to make moves in the back field. Without a good line, Henry would remind me of DeMarco at the Eagles. Just completely ineffective, and scat backs might not be able to move the chains like DeMarco did in Dallas, but they can escape pressure in the backfield. Attacking the line of scrimmage? Sure. He's special at that. But that doesn't make him some god of a running back the likes of which we haven't seen in 30 years. It's just an outlandish statement.

Bham4tide. We are about the same age. I got to see Nathan, Humph, Shaun, all the legends. You are right. He is the best.
I was one of the ones that thought he wouldnt be successful because of his body type. His center of gravity is too high for a RB. I was like, this guy is an all pro MLB. What's he doing at RB? But, this year made me eat crow. He was better than anyone who came before.
Other fan bases don't realize how young this online for Bama really is. They didn't have 50 starts between the 5. 3 first year players and a true Soph at LT. A first year QB with a frosh and a soph as the primary receivers. That didn't strike fear in opposing defenses. Henry earned this the hard way. This ain't the 2012 online with AJ and Amari. DH deserves everything he is getting now. Happy for him.

In my opinion, its the things you don't see that make Henry great. He is not the perfect running back. I still think he would be more successful in the NFL as a LB or TE. But, he is the heart and soul of the Bama offense. His work ethic is legendary. He makes everybody else around him better. Young guys worked harder over the summer. He kept egos in check and helped young stars like Ridley and Stewart gain confidence. He helped Coker more than anyone. If Bama was without DH this year? They would be Florida. Great defense, bad offense. 9-3 at best. Every time Bama needed a play, he got it.

ALL SEC fans should know that Danny Wuerffel and Tim Tebow are the only quarterbacks to sweep all the awards (neither could win the Doak as they were not running backs, but they both won the QB equivalent - The O'Brien and and additional one the Unitas).
Both are the only 2 Heisman winners to ever win the Draddy/Campbell AKA academic Heisman for service, academics, athletic accomplishment.
At the time, Wuerffel held the NCAA record for QB efficiency. Tebow broke that record.
Both Tim Tebow and Danny Wuerffel were academic All-Americans and SEC and national POY on all america teams.
Wuerrfel is in the Academic Hall of Fame and the CF Hall of Fame. You know Tebow will be.
Danny Wuerffel also won the Heisman and the national championship in the same year, and was the MVP of the title game.
Danny Wuerffel has an award named after him as well.
Wuerffel won 4 SEC titles. Think about that.
Henry will have accomplished a lot if goes on the with the H, MVP and NC, but he still will not be even close to Wuerffel or Tebow.
