On any level of football on offense it comes down to the big uglies. Control the LOS and your "O" will be successful.
Rebs going from 120 career starts returning on Oline to 30 career starts. One of your projected starters isn't even committed to rebs as I type this. Can I put him on the LSU starting "O"? I heard tigers were in the running for signature.
If QB is running for his life it's hard to throw with any amount of consistency.

1/3 of those line starts were Tunsil, who only played five games this year. It was still a relatively inexperienced group that started the season. Yes, left tackle is our biggest question mark by far. We will definitely have to sign and start an elite freshman there. But there is no way that we are worse off on the line as is than we were for the first seven games of the season. It's legitimately my only real concern, other than the schedule.
But really, not counting Chad Kelly look at the other six starting QBs in the west next year. I'd rather have our problems than anyone else's.

Career starts is a bad one to use.
For a guy like Laremy Tunsil, yeah. Sucks.
For a guy like Aaron Morris, addition by subtraction.
Justin Bell hardly played in the Egg Bowl. Sims got most snaps at RG, and had Patterson and Taylor not been dinged up, they would've LG. Losing Cooper sucks.
The way I look at it:
Tunsil - ~30 starts
Morris - ~20 starts
Cooper - 25 starts
Bell - ~ 20 starts
Starting line:
Little - 0 starts, elite talent tho. Didn't bother Tunsil any in '13
Patterson - ~ 6 starts, rotated with starters whole 2015
Conyers - ~20 starts
Taylor - ~10 starts, Sims also started late 2015 and treated like starter most of the year
Rawlings - 7 starts
It's not like we're shuffling three to four starters out there who have never been in that situation outside of garbage games.
Four (Patterson, Conyers, Taylor, Rawlings) all started against Bama. It's not going to be some cliff drop off.
Losing Tunsil and Cooper sucks. Interior will be better though. Young, more talented players.
Patterson and Taylor were both heavily coveted by Bama. Conyers was our starting center until he got hurt. Rawlings started while Tunsil was out and held his own early as a redshirt freshman. Trial by fire.
We're going to be fine at OL next year, assuming Greg Little signs and we don't get a case of the injury bug. Grasping at straws.
