Tony's people and some Bama boosters probably did reach a number ... Some promises may or may not have been made ... They weren't kept... What have we learned from all this... Bama needs to stay the frick out of South Panola unless they want to get burned again. Back on topic: Simmons was frickin everywhere yesterday... MS Dlinemen set up shop in the Alabama Allstars' backfield all day.

Whether we made an offer or not, I don't know. I'm not naive enough to think we're squeaky clean (even though we shouldn't have to do too much right now). I actually agree with most of your post, though. This kind of thing happens from time to time. To pretend like it didn't here, though, is laughable.

This OM spin story on Connor is a new one to me, though. I've honestly not heard it before.

So Connor's recruitment was clean, huh?

Fans. Psychologists would have a field day studying how an otherwise rational person becomes completely irrational when defending their sports team.

Heck, several AU people to this day think they didn't pay Cam Newton. That is honestly one of the most incredible things I've ever heard of in my life. So don't feel bad. You're not alone.

For the record, I agree. Simmons is a beast. So is Quinnen Williams for AL (most underrated DL recruit in the country, and very close to Simmons as a player). I actually think Simmons will be more productive in college wherever he goes than Nkemdiche.
