It should shoot any type of 9MM ammo but I have not shot one yet myself so I cannot personally testify to that.

There are a number of companies that make 9mm Carbine rifles if that is what you are interested in. I own a Kel Tec Sub 2000 which uses Glock magazines and I love it. That is where my passion for 9mm Carbines started. Just Right Carbines also makes a nice one that isn't too expensive. Baretta makes the CX4 which is a neat, futuristic carbine. With the Baretta you can use Baretta magazines from their pistols so you could have a carbine and a pistol that both use the same Mags. Colt makes one on their AR platform but it is pricey, IMO.
