last night? Dude bled like a stuck hog (pun intended). Smart needs to spend some time in Moultrie 'crutin some o-linemen and receivers.

Apparently Erk's ghost was channeled by Probst. It worked because the beat Mill Creek.

As much as I don't really like the guy,you can't deny his coaching abilities. He might have too much baggage to make the leap to D1 coaching but I think he could do it seamlessly

As a Hawg fan, I hope he stays right where he is. If we ever quite making numerous, numerous mistakes, we are going to be tough to beat.

Is it true that he wants the taxpayers to foot the bill for an IPF? If so, y'all need to run his arse out of town.

That's fricked up. Seriously. I don't care how good he is.

The packers have always been little brother to T'ville and Valdosta. They hired Hughes after T'ville ran him off and that's when they started winning.

Louisville or Awbarn would jump all over him if he came to the college ranks. But I think he's content where he is. There's a lot of money in CC and I'm sure a lot of it finds its way into his pockets.

I don't know. I agree that would be fricked up. Private donors paid for the artificial turf.

Everyone was Valdosta's little brother back in the day. We used to beat them like once a decade when they were reeling off the championships.

Thomsaville is an afterthought, they are what now 2A? I think they won like 1 or 2 games this year.

Moultrie won a lot of games under Bud Willis. 93 - 34 - 1.

True, but Hughes was a pretty darn good coach. The shift in population to Central and Brookwood killed T'ville.

High School football in the 70's was something. I had family in Athens and near Valdosta in addition to Thomasville. Good times and epic crowds.

The school population shift to central didn't "kill" Thomasville as far as being a good high school program. It lowered their classification. But they remained a pretty good AA program -even with some good showings and occasional wins over AAAA Cairo and AAAAA Central and AAAAAA Colquitt. What seems to have killed THS recently is the departure of Ritchie Marsh and the hire of the Clarke Central coach. I don't know what's going on down there at my old high school but they have enough talent alone to where they should be beating perennial doormats like Pelham and Berrien Co rather than losing to them.

What I meant was I think part of the community's "football pride" shifted to Central. There is no denying T'ville stomped mud holes in Cairo and Central before the population shift. It seemed to me all the excitement then shifted over to Central. Sad really as I loved watching games at the T'ville stadium.

You are correct about the community shift. I thought you might have meant that. I would've loved to have seen the 2 combine into a AAAAAA school but that ain't happening.

Hump, I have to disagree. I'm not saying his ethics are the greatest, but he is a heck of a coach.
