Honestly since conf championships seem to be so important how can they in good conscience not have all five represented.

Do I think the big ten is as good as the sec top to bottom no but I think all conf champions from each division are at least comparable to one another.

Dont be so sure that the conference championships seem to be so important. Jeff Long said last night that two teams have to be completely even for it to even be considered. UNC and Stanford could be screwed in this case if we lose or Clemson loses

Q: How does the committee deem one team better than another?

Long: In the committee's eyes, if a team has not clearly separated itself above another and they are indeed equal, then we apply those four criteria of conference champions, head-to-head, and those factors. So they don't come in until the committee reaches basically a deadlock and then we add in the conference championships.
