Yeah, but Northwestern and Notre Dame are pretty good and UCF isn't really an intentional cupcake even if it turned out that way.


In fact, those 2 OOC games that Stanford scheduled are, by themselves, equal or better than the best two games either Ohio St or UNC play on the entirety of their schedules.

Not even saying that Stanford should be in without question but I can certainly see the argument for the 2 losses being balanced out by the difficulty of the schedule compared to UNC and Ohio St.


Stanford would be 6-2 against teams at least receiving Top25 consideration

UNC would be 1-0 against any similar teams with even Top 25 votes

Ohio State would be 1-1

That's simply a vast difference in quality (or at least decent) wins which I can understand the committee rewarding.
