Saban suffers (if that word could ever apply to a winning coach) from the fact that his teams are good year in and year out. Yes, the last two years may have been his best coaching, but his results are similar to the last few years before that as well, so it isn't looked at like he did anything more than he normally does.

I think McElwain is the hands down favorite. Freeze and Jones could be 2a and 2b. Hugh has Ole Miss on the cusp of playing in back to back NY6 bowls, and Butch has turned the Tennessee program around, and was a handful of mistakes away from being one of the top teams in the nation.

It should be Mark Richt. Now hear me out brothers.....

I know it always goes to the guy that wins the SEC or shows the greatest improvement but.......
Dude handled getting canned with a lot of class. Even tried to save the recruiting class. I mean he could have left Athens like the Clinton's left the White House. Showed that he truly is a man of character. Glad he is gone but mucho respect.
