Yes kills, just like Pinkel. Or better than Pinkel.
So the difference maker between Pinkel and Rhule is that Pinkel 1) came from a successful coaching tree, and 2) Pinkel was with Don James when Don James (not Pinkel) won a national championship?
Well, using that logic we can pretty much take Odom off the potential candidate list, right?
I mean, Odom doesn't fulfill one requirement. He doesn't have national or conference championship experience...but he does come from a somewhat successful coaching tree (the Pinkel tree). That's the kind of tree that is above average in height and color, but overshadowed by much taller and vibrant trees that constantly steal the Pinkel tree's wind.
Sounds logical.

To answer your question kills, yes. Remove Odom from the list as well.
He's not ready for this job. If the guy we hire fails hopefully he'll be there ready for us with experience. If he's moved on to somewhere better that's fine too.
People always tell me I'm crazy because Kingsbury wants to coach his alma mater and in the same breath will tell me that Odom won't come back if we pass him over now.
Before I mentioned that this isn't a multiple choice test. If it were, and Odom and Rhule were the two choices, I pick none of the above.
