Why wouldn't he be here to finish the season?
If he leaves before the season is over, I'll be the first to say - frick you Kirby.
But I seriously don't think that's going to happen and can't see him as being that type of coach/person.

It is not yet known if Smart would continue coaching at Alabama if the Crimson Tide wins Saturday and makes the College Football Playoff. There's a precedent for doing it as former Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain coached Alabama in the 2012 national championship after accepting the Colorado State job. Saban lauded McElwain's decision and said it "spoke to his character and his professionalism."
