So even though I have a college degree + 20 hrs, because I didn't go to Alabama, I'm not a legitimate fan? And FWIW, I've been following Bama football since the late 1970's.

You still have a chance. Can you answer yes to any of the following?
Are you a relative of Paul Bryant?
Have you ever taught or lectured at the University?
Have you ever rolled trees or something similar after a Bama victory?
Can you name the first president of the University and three of his family members.
Have you ever spent three consecutive nights on campus?
