Good points.

Bama envy has consumed the entire program and fan base to the point where nothing else matters. They feel it should be L5U that is having the success that Bama is having now. The deserve it, you know, becuase they had Saban first. The lack of respect and appreciation being shown to Les is pathetic. He is, after all, the winningest coach in Lsu history. Saban used them as a stepping stone to get to the top. Les has always believed L5U is the top and has been loyal even with them constantly criticising his every move by comparing to what Saban would have done. What they don't realize, well won't admit is that Saban at Bama is >>>>> greater than what Saban at L5u could've been. Bama would still have been as dominant vs L5u these past years no matter the coach. Plus, all the experienced great coaches are locked up at programs as good or better than L5u and would have no real incentive to make a lateral or downward move. Plus, add in the odd fan base with unrealistic expectations that are lynch mobbing a very respected, succesfull coach. Uh no thanks. Plus, there isn't a L5U equivalent to Harbough for Michigan. I don't know if any L5U alum that is coaching at an elite level, college or pro.

They want to gamble with an up and comer who will try to change them from a powerful smashmouth team to a fast paced finese spread team so they can look good on offense. Watch them struggle for the next 5 years as their defense goes soft like B12 teams. 10 in a row and another fired coach. It will be awesome to watch.

Their expectations are just fricking retarded. Everyone knew next year was supposed to be their year anyway, now they want to frick that up. If I were booger I would transfer.
