I'm going to link to the article below, but I'm also going to be posting the interesting parts down below to save you some time. Here are 5 interesting parts of the article about commitments and the HC search:
1. Tanner asks the current 2016 Gamecock commitments to hold to their pledges as they search for South Carolina's next Head Coach.
2. Two of those commitments, offensive lineman Lloyd Cushenberry and quarterback Brandon McIlwain confirmed that they have received calls from Tanner updating them on the search and encouraging them to be patient while it plays out.
3. Cushenberry (OL) claims that Tanner called him this past Tuesday to inform him that they’ll be trying to make a Head Coach decision in "probably about three weeks" and that he also hopes Cushenberry sticks with them.
4. Cushenberry still sounds like a solid commitment, quoted in the article saying "We’ll just see whoever they bring in. I am committed but keeping my options open, just seeing what goes on. I’ve been talking to Mississippi State and I really like them, but I’m still committed to South Carolina.”
5. McIlwain (QB) confirmed that he will not take his official visit to South Carolina next weekend as planned for the Clemson game. He now expects to take that visit in December. He plans to enroll in January if he gets approval from his school district. McIlwain’s season ended last Friday with a playoff loss.

Right on, Tre Jackson's dad, G8TRGRT, confirmed this on our coaching search thread as well.

I apologize for repeating news then. I don't come over to this board too often so when I saw the article I thought it'd be cool to see some thoughts about it here.
I skimmed the first page but didn't think that someone could have posted it in the coaching search thread. Sorry again about that.
