Raw scoring averages are misleading. From pace of play to varying quality of opponents there are far too many variables involved.
Off S&P+ (which accounts for those variables) Rankings:
Arkansas #5
LSU #14
Ole Miss #18
Mississippi State #30
Tennessee #40
Texas A&M #49
Alabama completely shut down two of the best offensive teams in the nation.

Arkansas and LSU aren't anywhere near the list of "the best offenses in the nation". Not even close.
