He's a class act. I don't think anyone could have done better pulling us out of woods that the program was in.
I don't like the timing of the announcement. He had a lot of treatments in may and june, recently went back for a checkup, and then announced his retirement. He has a serious disease

I'm gonna miss him. I really think we take a step back the next few years.
GP is really all I've known at Mizzou football. I really didn't hear a peep out of the program while growing up at Lake of the Ozarks. After I joined the Air Force Mizzou football was a way I could connect to some thing from home. I joined the same year GP started at Mizzou. Fom the time he beat the Nubs for the 1st time, winning the most important boarder war game ever, to the Pinkel Dance, laughing at UGA when they lost to Florida, and the emotion he showed after the BYU game. Thanks for all the wonderful memories coach!
