I agree. Can you imagine 30 Bama players coming to Saban saying they are going to strike or not play against State, I think the man might stroke out. When he finally came down off the roof, those players would be gone so fast and good luck having another GOOD team take them. I thought Gary Pinkel had more balls than for let 30 Kids blackmail his arse.

And if he did that with the Black players striking over what they perceive as racial injustice he would immediately be labeled a racist and have a VERY difficult time recruiting black players from that point.

In other words, no...no he wouldn't.

He, along with every other coach in the SEC would have done the same thing because they would have been left with no choice. Pinkel wasn't happy about it, but he was painted into the corner and he did the only thing he could have done.
