Alabama gets a mulligan, no other SEC school does, not Florida (#10) or LSU (#8 after losing to Bama).
Plus it is all about the EYE test, recruiting rankings, and of course TV RANKINGS.

All I keep hearing is how irrelevant these rankings are. yes, they are if LSU wins. But if Bama wins, even by a small margin, plenty of other teams are fricked-assuming Bama wins out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't one committee member in each year of this illogical Committee had to step down because of health reasons??
