Actually...... Home field is not an advantage in this series. It's the exact opposite. Bama wins in Baton Rouge more often than not and LSU wins in Tuscaloosa more often than not. Since 1980, LSU is 12-5 in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

This year's Bama team has played better on the road than at home.
