so ole miss didn't deserve to beat bama? bama made more mistakes than ole miss and bama deserved to lose. same principle. other teams didn't get the job done. lsu had beaten 6 ranked teams up to that point. who else had done that?

randy, when you're adamantly defending a losing proposition, you probably shouldn't say things like this.

notice how no one ever names the other teams who deserved to be in the ncg more than lsu, their criteria and why their criteria is justified. they just ape the usual LSU SUCKS AND GOT LUCKY.

Maybe LSU was the best, maybe they weren't.

But yes you got lucky. There are dozens of Power 5 teams who lose 2 games every year, usually to much better teams than Arkansas and Kentucky. LSU is the ONLY one in modern college football history to be handed a shot at a national title after doing so.

Because it would be an opinion and irrelevant to what actually unfolded. You are attemping an argument based upon a "got ya" question that does not matter.

The fact is that LSU needed two (2) teams to lose on the last weekend of the year because you lost the previous weekend. When LSU was done playing. You tuned in to root for both Oklahoma and Pitt. Both of those teams losing had nothing to do with what LSU did in Atlanta. There is my case.

Now back my original statement, when you need that much outside help to get your two loss team to the BCSNCG, you donot have the right to call anyone else lucky.
