Anyone here live/lived in Michigan? Company just moved me to Grand Rapids and I'm looking for any insight on things to do/see. Also if there are any SEC friendly sports bars in the area. Long shot but figured I would try.

I'm moving to Michigan next summer. I have people there and it's pretty cool. The people I know live in the Flint area as well as Dearborn. There is a lot do in Michigan if you're into nature. As for sports bars, I'm not so sure. Buffalo Wild Wings are EVERYWHERE but we all know they kinda suck. My suggestion is to look up the alumni groups and keep up with their events catered to alumni living in the area.

If you want to know what to do that is non UGA related, let me know. I've got a shite ton of suggestions.

I'll be up there in a few weeks for thanksgiving.

Thanks, I'm open to any suggestions. It seems nice the three weeks I've been here. The beer here is awesome! I'm going to go seek out a place to watch the Cocktail Party tomorrow.

Fishing is very good there. I'm not a hunter but am told deer hunting is good too.
