That turnover changed the course of that season, which pretty much set the tone for the SEC in the BCS era.

If Stoerner doesn't fumble, we win the game, Tennessee doesn't win a BCS Title and Fulmer likely doesn't last as long as he does, which means he doesn't get involved in the Alabama stuff, which means they don't lose Fran, which means they might not get Saban, which changes everything.

Granted, that's a lot of extrapolation, but it's interesting to see how one play can change a lot about the course of a season and even an entire decade.
