The numbers have been posted somewhere on here, and they are hard to ignore. When Saban coached at LSU his teams stayed in the basement of penalties against ranks in the SEC, but when he gets to Bama his teams are usually among the least penalized teams? Not to mention savvy timing of calling penalties and no calls mean just as much or more than the actual number of penalties called.
