DO NOT!!! park on the east side of the stadium.
Oh and Gallettes is a must before the game.

Agreed on downtown.
it is not a bad walk. there are some good bars in temerson square/Greensboro/Government Square to ease the walk a bit. Overall safe area to park your car and the traffic getting back onto the interstate is easy.
Stay away from McFarland. All the Bham Day trippers take this route. and McFarland is horrible after a game.
wont be as bad in the next few years as they are planning to build a highway that will go directly to Lake Tuscaloosa. Will allow people to use Jack Warner Parkway more when exiting Ttown.
