How do y'all do against TEs? I've noticed slants and crosses over the middle give y'all fits at points during games. Hoping Howard can do some work in there.

Our secondary has been what your OLine has for yall, super talented just unable to really put it all together to this point.

For stretches they've been very good, for others it's been a struggle. Chavis ran mostly simple, man type coverages and now Steele has installed a lot of zone and generally more complicated coverages and there's been an adjustment period with communication and just knowing where to be at all times. Things have, for the most part, been better when Jalen Mills is in the game (he missed this first 5 games and was limited in the last 2), but it's unclear how much he'll play in this game.

When they are on things are fine and it's a really good unit, but we've been good for one or two totally busted coverages a game so far which isn't going to cut it on November 7th obviously. The hope is that with 2 weeks to get ready we can go back to basics a little bit and get that cleaned up and also that Mills will be able to play the whole game as he's essentially a coach on the field. Who knows if either of those happens.

At linebacker we're "ok" in coverage. They generally know what to do but we're just fairly thin at that spot after the first couple of guys. After that it's hard workers who are just not super talented for this level. Much better against the run though.
