Why can't Jake Coker throw it away?

It's like his arm locks into place when he gets pressure.

To me, this is probably the most maddening thing about his game.

Why can't you make decent posts?

Seriously. You're fricking terrible. I cringe when I open your threads on game days in preparation for the absolute stupidity that you felt the need to post.

Ban yourself.

I'd like to see him throw the ball away more, but I don't find it be the largest issue with the offense.

I remember this as a gripe for McElroy too, people claimed he was protecting his completion percentage.

He just never gives up on a play. Which can be detrimental, but he always thinks he can make something happen. It's admirable, but not always smart.

The oNe where he was running to his left, being chased from behind, if he tries to throw it away with a man closing from behind, after having to to rearange his body (running the wrong way) the the guy from behind can swipe the ball from behind and cause a fumble. Sure, you and I know he is not close enough, but Coker had no idea how close he was, good sack imho. Our defense was controling the game, no need in taking a chance there.

Easier said than done sometimes.

IMO, the play calling was once again terrible at times and with UT playing 2 safeties over the top, I thought for sure Kiffin would call a QB draw to help draw in the 2 deep safeties.
