Likely true. My point was not whether he would be fired or when he would leave but that he is building a resume as a HC running a program that can't get it done and in fact is trending down.
The elite athletes will opt for programs with a recent history of winning, playing time, fit for talent, and to some degree NFL oppty, academics, location, weather, future OOC schedule, friendships present and planning to attend, distance from home.
Elite talent controls choice and picks school.
Elite Programs controls choice and picks less than top tier talent.
To win you need to excel at both.
