Richt has long since passed the crossroads. There wasn't an exactly point where that occurred, but rather a culmination of history.

Most on this board are resigned or accepting the UGA will run from 2 to 4 losses a year. Some are OK with that and are scared to lose Ricjt because it could be worse, some think that is a fine job and some think we can do better but realize it doesn't matter because the admins don't care about doing better.

In regard to recruiting, I think the days of can this program get me to the NFL are waning at best. In these days of mass media, if you are kicking arse out there in almost any D1 program, you will be noticed. The SEC at large still carries an advantage IMO, and some programs more specific positional advantages - Bama for defense and UGA for pro style QBs for example (in spite of our inexplicable discovery we don't have a QB on the roster this year). The number 1 overall in 2013 played at Central Michigan. I don't even know where the hell that is. The pros do.

I believe at the start of THIS nfl season we had one of the 3 highest amounts of players on NFL squads. It's not waning at all, if anything it's increasing.
