What? He made Florida great. Not the sec. Florida isn't even a top 4 alltime sec football program. Having a great 6 years stretch is in no way creating the modern sec. Good god. Yes he is the one of the best sec coaches ever but he didn't make the damn sec what it is.

Holy shite. He isn't above reproach. He quit on his team in the middle of the season because they weren't good enough.

He's still very involved in the program. He's still in his office at Willy B and will remain there for the rest of the year and Elliott is staying in his office he has already. He will be dropping in on practices and he's still very much in touch with all of the players. He didn't quit on us or his players and I don't get why the hell all y'all give such great fricks about this when WE are the ones this happened to...and we're okay with it.
