It does show his character. He's quit on his team in mid season. I have come to like the "old & improved" Spurrier as he's always been funny & entertaining. But as for the former HBC,this is completely within his character back then. He was great when he was winning & running up the score every chance he got, but as soon as he ran into some bump in the road, he bitched & complained like the a-hole he was back then.
